Terms
These are the terms for using this website and for the way I, Kyle Kufeldt, trading as Journeyman Works in metro Atlanta, Georgia, take on work. They are short because most of what matters gets written down separately for each job.
This website
The site describes what I build and what it costs. It is information, not an offer that binds either of us until we have agreed a scope. The words and illustrations are mine; you are welcome to quote them with a link, and not welcome to pass them off as your own.
Prices and scope
The figures on the services page are starting prices. What you actually pay depends on how many numbers and locations are involved and how tangled the follow-up is, and it is settled before any work starts. After the first call I send a written scope: what I will build, what it costs, and what it does not include. If you accept it, that document governs the job, and where it says something different from this page, the written scope wins.
The monthly tiers run month to month. You can cancel at any time, and you keep the database either way.
What I promise, and what I do not
I promise to build what the scope says, to tell you before I change it, and to be the person who answers when it breaks. I do not promise a number of calls, leads or bookings. The cost table on the front page uses public averages with the sources linked; your numbers will be different, and the table is there to help you think, not to guarantee a result.
Messages sent on your behalf
The systems I build send texts and email in your name. You are responsible for making sure the people they reach have contacted your business or agreed to hear from you, and I apply the rules described on the privacy page to every system without exception: mobile numbers only, the Do Not Call registry respected, nothing overnight, one opt out switches a number off everywhere.
Other people's services
What I build runs on services I do not own, among them Twilio, Mailgun, ElevenLabs, AWS and Cloudflare. Each has its own terms. When one of them has an outage or changes its rules, I will work around it as fast as I can, but I cannot control it.
Liability
If something I built causes you a loss, my liability is limited to the fees you paid me for that piece of work. I am not liable for lost profits or for anything caused by a service outside my control.
Law
These terms and any written scope are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If we ever disagree, we talk first.
